When to consult the Doctor?

Haemorrhoids are not at all an exceptional health condition like all others. Getting the medical assistance and suggestions at right time help in controlling the severity of piles. There are few critical indications as Excruciating pain and discomfort in your anal and rectum area or Dark red, maroon, or tar-like in color when you pass the stool.

Treatment Options:

Non-Surgical Treatment:

There are two non-surgical treatment procedures called Rubber Band Ligation and Coagulation. In Rubber Band Ligation treatment, the anorectal surgeon places a rubber band around the internal piles to cut the blood circulation causing the tissue to shrink and fall off. This usually takes 5 to 7 days. Whereas in Coagulation, a beam of infrared light is passed to destroy the piles. This is [referred when the severity is less.

Surgical Treatment:

In surgical treatments, there are 3 different types- Hemorrhoidectomy, Hemorrhoid stapling and Laser surgery.
Laser surgery
This is one of the most advanced and effective surgeries in which a laser beam is sent to burn or shrink the haemorrhoids. This causes less pain and no bleeding. Hemorrhoidectomy
In this type of surgery, anal tissues that cause bleeding are removed. Hence, this is suggested for piles of severe grades. Few incisions are made around the haemorrhoid tissue, and swollen veins are tied off. This prevents the bleeding, and the haemorrhoid is removed.
Haemorrhoid stapling
This is another surgical procedure in which the arterial blood vessels are cut off. This procedure is carried out to disrupt the blood flow to the inflamed tissues. This procedure is applied mostly to the internal tissues. This is one of the quickest recovery procedures with less pain.
